So which God is it to be?
But even with that differentiation there is still a library full of alternative spins and emphasises to confuse and muddy the waters as to the nature and true identity of this one and only God. This may not be so surprising when we consider how we have to individually approach and understand God and how we come to God with millions upon millions of personal interpretations of just who He is.
Far be it for me as a mere layperson to instruct anyone on coming to a definitive answer as to the most accurate Bible translations, most exhaustive commentaries and most persuasive theologies. There are many Bible colleges, seminaries and Bible teaching churches that endeavour to fulfil that lofty goal. My goal is to simply create the conversation that leads people on to that path of discovery.
I hope to make this site as much a compilation of sites and resources as it is a site for a friendly chat and swapping ideas about Our Lord and our relationship with Him. Over time I will review all the Christian resources that I have discovered and had laid across my path. Also I will offer a contrary view of the 3 megaphones that shape our thinking and condition our responses in the secular world in which we sojourn. This revelation alone will give discerning readers a whole new perspective on just about every aspect of their daily life.
By way of my own experiences and observations on a journey that has had many detours and wrong turnings I am confidently able to assert that there is one and only one living God that reveals Himself to all that diligently and earnestly seek Him. This blog will over time weave together these many threads of life’s lessons and teachings from my point of view. From the ordinariness and unspectacular chronicle that my life presents, it will be a relief to others who might also be reasonably ordinary yet strive for more meaning and purpose in their lives.
God did promise that we are all of great worth to Him, everyone of us, as individuals. But that worth is not self worth, wielding power over others or personal wealth. It is not earned nor warranted but received freely when we truly seek the author of worthiness, Our Lord.
Although I write this blog as a Christian I encourage people with little or no faith or spiritual discernment to read the posts and be open to their own conscience and prodding. Faith is an individual undertaking and responsibility. We can’t get to heaven as part of a group or club. We don’t get there by being in a Christian home. It’s your life and your destiny at stake nobody else’s. offer their 10 cents worth albeit respectfully.
I have zero tolerance for trash talk, abusive language or trolling. Hit the back key and/or write your own story.
